The Monstera 'Mint' is an exceptionally rare and striking cultivar of the classic Monstera deliciosa, distinguished by its heavily mottled, mint green and white variegation. This slow growing, highly desirable aroid produces the signature fenestrated leaves of the species.
Care Guide:
| Perfect for | Warm humid rooms, moss poles or shelves for it to cascade from |
| Light required | Requires bright, indirect light to maintain its mint variegation. Absolutely must be protected from direct sunlight, which will rapidly burn the pale sections of the leaves. |
| Water | Allow the top half of the potting mix to dry out completely before watering. |
| Humidity | Requires high humidity (ideally 60% or higher) |
| Toxicity | Toxic to humans and pets. |
| Origin | Cultivated variety (the species is native to Central America) |
| Growth rate | Very slow growing due to the lack of chlorophyll in the variegated sections. Provide a moss pole or trellis to encourage larger, mature, fenestrated leaves. |
| Pot size tip | Choose a pot cover with a 12cm opening |
