The Sedum 'Burrito', often referred to as the Burro’s Tail or Baby Burro's Tail, is a highly ornamental trailing succulent. It is celebrated for its dense, cascading stems completely enveloped in small, plump, bead-like leaves of a pale blue-green hue. The foliage is naturally coated in a silvery epicuticular wax (farina) that protects it from intense sunlight. Because the leaves are remarkably delicate and detach easily upon contact, it is best placed in a permanent hanging location where it can grow undisturbed, creating a stunning architectural cascade.

Care Guide Table:

Perfect for High shelves, sunny windowsills, and hanging displays. Comes with a detachable nursery hook ready for immediate hanging.
Light required Requires bright, direct sunlight to thrive. Ample light keeps the bead-like leaves growing tightly together and prevents the stems from stretching.
Water Highly drought-tolerant. Allow the potting mix to dry out 100% between waterings. The plump leaves store water, and they will begin to slightly pucker or wrinkle when the plant is genuinely thirsty.
Humidity Prefers a dry environment. Standard household humidity is perfect. Absolutely no misting is required, as water droplets can damage the powdery farina coating on the leaves.
Toxicity Non-toxic to humans and pets.
Origin Native to southern Mexico
Growth rate Moderate grower. The thick, trailing stems can eventually reach up to a metre in length indoors if provided with sufficient light and left undisturbed.
