With a cascading trail of mini-leaves sprinkled with silver, the Pilea Greyzy is an unusual yet welcoming addition to any home. Its oval, blue-grey leaves shimmer with a silvery powder when the plant is watered correctly, well looked after and generally happy - kind of like a Tamagotchi!
Another amazing fact about the Pilea Greyzy is that when watering, its tiny blossoms burst open and emit tiny stamens, allowing its pollen to spread when the wind blows. For this reason, we recommend watering it in the morning in bright sunlight, near an open window.
This plant has only recently been discovered and therefore, it genuinely doesn't have a scientific name as of yet. Rumours in the plant community is that it may be called Pilea Libanensis, but that's yet to be confirmed.
